Last week our CEO, Michael Chrisment, and our Senior Business Analyst, Jaqueline Castro, were invited to speak at the SCAJ World Specialty Coffee Conference and Exhibition 2021 in Japan.
SCAJ brings together coffee industry stakeholders, such as cafe owners, roasters, and importers, from all corners of the world to learn about the latest trends in the industry, discuss business opportunities and to network.
It was exciting to be able join and host a virtual seminar to share findings from our research on Japanese coffee consumers, to talk more about how we're connecting coffee companies into a value generating network and how through data, we can engage consumers in the product journey, deliver businesses with intelligent insights into their supply chains and in turn, empower action.
In line with this year's SCAJ theme, Connecting to a Sustainable Future, we were thrilled to be able to discuss the role of traceability in driving forward a more sustainable future.
Between the launch of our new ThankMyFarmer™ both in Japan and globally, announcing our new partnership with Japanese specialty coffee company, Philocoffea, and preparing for the SCAJ, it has been an exciting few months for us! We look forward to increasing our visibility within new markets and seeing the network of farmer connect® users grow.
